Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

Before any repair or maintenance operation make sure the appliance is not hot.

HOW TO REPLACE FAN/RING HEATING ELEMENT

Before replacing any part of the appliance remove the door when the appliance is still mounted in the furniture. Door removal is described in the User Manual.

Screw placement and their number may differ depending on appliance.

1. Remove the back panel – to do that unscrew the screws holding the back panel and lift the back cover to remove it. For cookers removal of screws holding the hob may be needed. 

2. Carefully disconnect wiring connector from the heating element spade. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connector.

3. Inside the oven unscrew the screws holding the fan cover and remove it, ensure that all the washers are with all the screws.

4. Unscrew the twonuts on the back of the oven to release the heating element. Gently pull the heating element to remove.

5. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order ensuring to exchange the seal from the old heating element to the new one.
