Oven blows / Trips fuses
Issue
- Oven / Cooker blows / trips the fuse
Applies to:
- Integrated oven
- Single Oven
- Double Oven
- Combination Oven
- Microwave Oven
- Freestanding cooker
Resolution
- If the appliance has recently been installed or a new appliance has been added to the same circuit, this could indicate an installation error. In this instance we would recommend contacting your installer or electrician
- To check which appliance is causing the fault, turn off as many other appliances as possible, switch the power back on at the consumer unit switch the oven back on. This will determine if there is a fault with the oven or if there are too many appliances on the circuit.
If the above advice does not resolve the problem, we recommend a visit by a service technician. Contact our team to arrange a repair.
