Electrolux 800 Wet&Dry Cordless Cleaner - low suction power / water leak / too much water remains on the floor

Issue

  • Low suction power
  • Water leaking
  • Too much water remains on the floor

Applies to:

  • Electrolux 800 Wet&Dry Cordless Cleaner (models EFW81703, EFW81713, EW82U1DB, EW82U2DB)

Resolution

The reduced airflow has lowered the suction power, which also caused water leakage.

  • Empty the dust container and clean the filters as instructed in the user manual.
  • Clean the dirty water tank thoroughly following the instructions in the user manual.
  • Ensure that all dirt, residue, and contaminants are completely removed from the dirty water tank and its interlocking components, especially the connecting surfaces. If these areas are not properly cleaned, parts may gradually fail to fit together with full precision, which can lead to an insecure closure over time.

How to clean the filter and dust container

1. Detach the dustbin from the hand unit.

2. Separate the filters and twist and detach the cyclone unit.

3. Rinse the parts under water with a maximum temperature of 40°C.

4. Let them dry for at least 24 hours before reassembling.

5. Replace the filters every 12 months to maintain optimal performance.
