Dishwasher – How to replace the rinse aid dispenser cap

Before carrying out any repair or maintenance, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the socket.

Only adults should use or install the product.
Before carrying out any repair or maintenance, turn off the water supply to the appliance.
Make sure to use the product only for its intended purpose and check that it’s a compatible part for the product you’re using.
Do not use or install the product if it is damaged.
Please note that repairing it yourself or getting it repaired by someone who isn’t a professional can have safety consequences if it’s not done properly, and it might void the warranty. It’s essential that you have the proper know-how.
HOW TO REPLACE THE CONTAINER CUP
- Unscrew the four PH2 screws holding the bottom cover of the dishwasher, then pull the cover towards you to remove it.
2. Unscrew the two PH2 screws on the top of the left-hand side panel and the three PH2 screws along the back of the left-hand panel.
3. Use a small flat-bladed screwdriver to prise open the three clips holding the side panel to the appliance, then pull the side panel from back to front to remove it.
4. Unscrew the ventilation grille anti-clockwise to remove it.
NOTE: Make sure the ventilation grille is firmly screwed back into place when reinstalling it.
5. Pull the container cup towards you and then lift it up to remove it from the salt pot.
Use pliers to squeeze the jubilee clip and slide the clip down the hose to release the container.
NOTE: This will release the water from the container cup. It’s recommended to put something underneath to catch any remaining water. Make sure all seals on the salt pot and the container cup are properly in place when you’re putting them back.
6. If necessary, remove the seal from the container cup.
7. When assembling, repeat the steps in reverse order.
