Resolution
Water enters the washing machine through the detergent drawer, here it also washes the detergent and fabric softener from the dispenser drawer into the washing machine drum where it is used in the washing process.
Sometimes residue can be left, which can build up in and around the drawer. This can lead to blockages and prevent detergent from flowing properly into the tub. In severe cases, leaks may occur and mold may also form.
To prevent this from happening, the drawer and the inside and bottom of the dispenser housing need periodic cleaning. To do this, the drawer will have to be removed.
To avoid possible deposits of dry detergent or coagulated fabric softener and/or the formation of mold in the drawer of the detergent compartment, follow the following cleaning procedure:
1. Open the drawer. Push the handle down as shown in the picture and pull it out
2. Remove the top of the detergent dispenser for easier cleaning. Be sure to remove any detergent residue from the top and bottom of the slot. Use a small brush to clean the slot.
3. Rinse the detergent drawer under running warm water to remove any traces of accumulated detergent. After cleaning it, put the top back in place.
4. Remove all detergent residue from the top and bottom of the recess. Use a small brush to clean the recess
5. Insert the detergent drawer into the guide rails and close it. Run the rinse cycle without clothes in the drum.
